Call Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma at 405-528-0221, toll free at 1-800-230-PLAN or by email. A specialist in permanent contraception is available to answer your questions, send you more information, and make appointments. Remember: Although tubal ligation is very effective in preventing pregancy, they offer no protection from sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. Latex or plastic condoms and abstinence are the only methods of birth control that can significantly reduce the risk of getting an STI.
